MOTE & ASSOCIATES, INC. - Engineers Week - February 19-25, 2012
Each year during Engineers Week the Greenville High School Engineering Tech Prep class, instructed by Chris Sykes, has a competition between students. This year’s class competition was for teams of students to design, draw, build and test a gantry crane for strength and efficiency. Mote & Associates spent class time with students answering questions and discussing designs with the students. Mote & Associates went back to watch the crane testing and rewarded the winners with a pizza lunch. Congratulations to Ben Smith and Scott Wirrig who were this year’s winners.
We are very excited about our local GHS Engineer Tech Prep program and our future engineers!
